Once upon a time, it was (at least) 9 months after the wedding before friends had to look forward to a Baby Shower. Often, it was a couple of years. These days, we find ourselves "counting backwards" to determine whether they had to get married. Of course, if the wedding shower comes after the baby shower hey, welcome to the way things are!

But, after all, all that matters is that the newborn shows up with 10 fingers and 10 toes and goes home to a loving family environment, right?.
